PROJECT: KULTKASTER

Do you have what it takes to have your own indie rock radio show?

Audiokult Radio has “OFFICIALLY” launched the Kontest for our “Project: KULTKASTER” Radio Show. The winner will be given the chance to do a 1 hr pre-recorded radio show every other week for the rest of 2012-13.

RULES

Complete the attached Submission Agreement which must be returned with your written and video submission.

Your video must be:

• 5 minutes or less

• Include a station id for either Audiokult Radio or The Dig N Graves Radio Show or both. (note only one is necessary)

• Must intro a song as well as outro (ie..hey were back)

• This is where your get to showcase yourself in other bring it!

• FILE TYPE(must be one of the following): avi, m4a, mov, or mp4
  

***NO PROFANITY or SENSITIVE SUBJECT MATTER if there is your submission will be automatically disqualified.***

You will have until 11:59pm est April 7th, 2012 to submit your contest agreement, submission doc and a video which is 5 minutes or less and a high definition picture of you from the shoulders up on a neutral background.

JUDGMENT

Judging will be done by the Audiokult Staff to determine the top three entrants. They will be judged based on the predetermined criteria with a score from 1 -5 with 5 being the highest score in each of the criteria.

1. Concept – Your originality and idea for how your show will be handled. Ex. Funny, Informative etc…
2. Station Id – Your ability to be creative in the creation and building of station ids
3. Song Intro – Your ability to introduce a band and their song
4. Potential Band – You will be given a band(NOVUS DAE) to intro and you will then have to choose 2 additional from the Audiokult Showkase library.
5. Delivery – this is how we evaluate you, the way you deliver your concept, your on air personality, and keep interest.

Once the top 3 finalists are determined they will be placed up for public voting. The winner will be the entrant who received the most votes in a 7day period.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Audiokult Radio is looking for a KultKaster to host a new show called Project: KULTKASTER where the music featured will be from the Audiokult Artist Showkase.

For this 5 min video you will have to do:

• 2 Station Id’s

• 3 song intro’s for the bands

• - Novus Dae

• - Band #2(a band you have chosen)
  

• - Band #3(a band you have chosen)
  

You are responsible to research the bands information for yourself in order to have a quality intro

• Miscellaneous Commentary which is where your on air personality and show concepts come into play.

WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED May 8 th, 2012 and will begin recording his/her show weekly with the first show airing June 15th at 8pm est by which time 5 shows should have been recorded and submitted for airplay.
